We were looking for a place where we could leave the everyday hustle and bustle behind.
Where we can switch off, get away a bit, but where we can get to relatively easily. Where we can love and relax and most importantly: where it’s all about us.
Then we found a real paradise on earth, above Lake Velence, in one of the charming streets of Sukoró… and realized our love project, the Sukorose Guest House.
Sukoró and especially its hilly part is really a place that touches you, where it feels good to just be, relax and recharge. That is why we built the Sukorose Guest House, where we hope everyone will find what they are looking for. You are really welcome here over and over again.

What you can find in our guest house:
It is located in a wonderful environment, above Lake Velence, in the picturesque part of the Velence Hills. It looks like being secluded, yet easy to get to, being only 50 kilometres from Budapest and 20 kilometres from Székesfehérvár.
It is equipped with its own day and night jacuzzi, but you can also find a barbecue area and a covered terrace, and enjoy a super comfortable 160×200 cm double bed in the bedroom.
Unlimited internet use and a smart TV with more than 100 channels, including international ones are also available.

Booking conditions:
The Sukorose Guest House is ideal for two adults, so it is primarily recommended for couples. The minimum booking time is two nights. We love pets very much, but unfortunately we cannot accomodate them at Sukorose, so we are really only welcoming the two of you! Please note that due to the landscape, the house and the jacuzzi can only be accessed via stairs, so the guest house is not accessible for people with disabilities. Thank you for your understanding!
Holidays and special periods: Official public holidays, including days that affect ’long weekends’ linked to public holidays. In this case, the increased payment period lasts from the night before the first public holiday of the period to the night before the last public holiday. Fridays and Saturdays. The entire period of the officially designated winter school break. During the week of the EFOTT Festival reservations are only possible for a minimum of 5 days, from Tuesday to Saturday.
Check-in: from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival. Check-out: 10 a.m. on the day of departure.

Sukoró and its surroundings
Sukoró is located in Fejér county, about 50 kilometres from Budapest, 20 kilometres from the county seat, Székesfehérvár. No wonder it is considered one of the jewel boxes of Transdanubia, as it is situated in a wonderful environment, on the northern shore of Lake Velence, at the foot of the Velence Hills. Its big advantage is that, unlike the settlements on the southern coast, it exudes incredible calmness, not mass tourism.
More and more cyclists, hikers, active or even passive visitors are discovering the countryside, where nice, friendly and hospitable people live.
Kilátó Street, where the Sukorose Guest House is located, goes uphill in a hilly landscape, practically perpendicular to the main road No. 8116, which passes through the village. The M7 highway runs near Sukoró, there is an opportunity to exit at the neighbouring Velence or Pákozd. The transit traffic in Sukoró is considered minimal.
The surrounding area offers a range of activities: the Pákozd-Sukoró Arboretum and Wildlife Park, the Military Memorial Park, quality wellness spas, the beaches and water sports centers of Lake Velence, the hiking spots of the Velence Hills, the Angelika spring, cozy wine cellars and one of the youth’s favorite festivals, the EFOTT held every year on the shores of the lake are all attractive alternatives.
