General Terms and Conditions
These “General Terms and Conditions” regulate the use of the Service Provider’s accommodation and services. According to the General Terms and Conditions, the operator, service provider, Sukorose Vendégház, 8096 Sukoró, Kilátó utca 30., hereinafter referred to as the Service Provider, concludes an accommodation contract with the persons and contracting parties who use other private accommodation services.
Contracting parties
Guest: A person who uses the accommodation’s services, purchases services via the website, through an intermediary, or in writing from the Service Provider via the e-mail address sukorose@sukorose.hu, who acknowledges the General Terms and Conditions and accepts them as binding, hereinafter Guest.

- Purpose of General Terms and Conditions
The General Terms and Conditions (G&C) contain the general terms of the legal relationship between the Service Provider and the Guest entering into a contractual relationship with it. With regard to issues not regulated here, the Hungarian legislation and official regulations in force at all times regarding the Service Provider’s activities, as well as the provisions contained in the Civil Code shall govern without special stipulations. - Acceptance of Contract Terms
Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions by the Guest is a prerequisite for purchasing or using services. Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions is deemed accepted if the Guest uses the service provided by the Service Provider. - Scope of Contract Terms
The Service Provider reserves the right to modify the General Terms and Conditions in whole or in part at any time. The General Terms and Conditions remain in force as long as the Service Provider provides the service. These GTC are valid from November 1, 2024 for an indefinite period. - Territorial scope of the service
A service operated by a service provider can be accessed/booked from both domestically and abroad. - Contractual concepts
Guest: A person who uses the accommodation’s services and purchases services through the website, who acknowledges the General Terms and Conditions and accepts them as binding, hereinafter referred to as Guest
Service provider: Sukorose Guest House, which provides other private accommodation services under the terms of these GTC, hereinafter referred to as the Service Provider
The service: private accommodation service
Price offer: The Service Provider’s written price offer in response to the Guest’s verbal or written request for a quote.
Reservation: Reservation is the written confirmation sent by the Service Provider of the Guest’s written reservation, which includes the subject, location, duration and price of the service, as well as the reservation for the payment of 30% of the total accommodation cost required to finalize the reservation. The reservation must be made for at least two days. During the week of the National Tourism Meeting of University Students and College Students, reservations are only possible from Tuesday to Saturday (five days), all at once.
Reservation finalization, validation: Payment of the 30% specified in the reservation in order to secure the reservation.
The Reservation is made after the payment of 30%, and is therefore considered a written Contract, and also means the automatic acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions and the Reservation and Cancellation Conditions.
Payment and cancellation conditions:
Determination of the conditions for the payment of the consideration for the service provided by Sukorose Vendégház, the method and schedule of the reservation and payment, the cancellation of the reservation and the non-refundable amount in case of cancellation.
- The service provider provides the service according to the following conditions
6.1. The guesthouse is also for rent. Maximum number of people: 2 people. Minimum booking time: 2 days. During the week of the National Tourism Meeting of University Students and College Students (EFOTT), reservations are only possible from Tuesday to Saturday (five days), all at once. During the B My Lake Festival, bookings are only possible for the 3 nights concerned (Thursday, Friday, Saturday), all at once.
6.2. The Service Provider does not stay at the Guest House, you, as Contracting Parties, use the Sukorose Guest House and its services for vacation and relaxation purposes at your own risk. The equipment and facilities in the house and in the garden, including the careful use of the garden grill and kettle, will be made available to you during your stay.
6.3. We do everything in our power to ensure the safety of our guests, we draw their attention to possible sources of danger, however, we cannot assume responsibility for their personal property in the house or in the free parking lot, as well as for personal injuries resulting from improper use of the house and its surroundings, or for damages caused in the house. You are responsible for compensation for damages you cause to the house, its equipment, and its surroundings.
6.4. In case of problems, we are available on the website, at the phone numbers and e-mail address provided in these GTC, so that we can help you during your stay, but we cannot accept complaints after departure.
- Request for an offer or booking process
7.1. The Service Provider sends a price offer to the Guest’s verbal or written request for a quote. The price offer can be modified based on written mutual agreement. In the absence of a response to the quotation, the quotation will be canceled after a grace period of 2 days.
7.2. The reservation is made with the confirmation of the Guest’s written reservation sent by the Service Provider, after payment of 30% of the total accommodation cost, and thus is considered a written contract, and at the same time means the automatic acceptance of the Booking and Cancellation Conditions and the General Terms and Conditions. The Guest accepts that the service provider will not refund the reservation amount paid in advance for the reservation canceled by him/her at the time of validating the reservation. Of course, the Service Provider prefers flexible rescheduling and exchange, if this is possible.
7.3. A verbal reservation, agreement, amendment or its verbal confirmation by the Service Provider does not constitute a contract.
7.4. The content of the Agreement covers the subject, location, duration, price of the service, as well as the Booking and Cancellation Conditions, as well as the relevant ASZF.
7.5. A written agreement by the parties is required to amend or supplement the Agreement.
It is possible to transfer an already finalized and confirmed reservation to another date or to change the number of staff depending on the available capacity.
7.6. The Guest House Service Provider may freely change its advertised prices without prior notification, unless it undertakes a commitment for a specific period.
7.7. The indicated prices do not include the local tourist tax established by the Sukoro municipality, which is paid on site. In 2024, the fee is HUF 800/person/night. In the case of a person under the age of 18, the fee does not have to be paid.

- Modification and cancellation of the Service
8.1. Price offer:
The Service Provider sends a price offer to the Guest’s verbal or written request for a quote. The price offer can be modified based on written mutual agreement. In the absence of a response to the quotation, the quotation will be canceled after a grace period of 2 days.
8.2. Reservation
8.2.1. If the 30% requested by the Service Provider to confirm the reservation is not paid by the agreed deadline, the reservation will be canceled. A verbal reservation, agreement, amendment or its verbal confirmation by the Service Provider does not constitute a contract. A written agreement by the parties is required to modify or add to the reservation.
8.2.2. It is possible to transfer an already finalized and confirmed reservation to another date or to change the number of staff depending on the available capacity.
8.2.3. The Guest House Service Provider may freely change its advertised prices without prior notification, unless it undertakes a commitment for a specific period.
- Terms of demand income
9.1. The guest can use the accommodation by checking in between 15:00 and 20:00 on the day of use. Check-out by 10.00 am on the last day of stay. Upon prior agreement, the check-out time can be extended.
9.2. Upon arrival at the accommodation, the Guest is obliged to prove his/her identity before occupying the accommodation in accordance with the legislation in force. By occupying the guest house, the guest accepts the General Terms and Conditions of the accommodation and the published House Rules of the accommodation.
9.3. The Hotel is not responsible for injuries caused by the fault of the Guest. The costs due to vandalism will be borne by the guest.
9.4. Holding hen and stag parties, house parties, loud musical gatherings, and the presence of more than 2 people in the guest house is prohibited!
9.5. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the house and on the entire site! An exception to this is the place next to the house, specially designated for this purpose. Throwing away articles is strictly prohibited!
- Refusal to use accommodation, termination of contract
The Accommodation is entitled to terminate the contract and refuse to provide services if the Guest
- non-performance payment obligation.
- does not use the accommodation according to its intended purpose
- suffers from an infectious disease
- is under the influence of drugs
- exhibits unacceptable, immoral, violent, conflicting behavior in the house and in its surroundings.
- in the case of reasons beyond the control of the parties, so-called Force Majeure (war, fire, flood, bad weather, power failure, strike) over which the parties have no control
- Rights of the Guest
The Guest is entitled to the intended use of the Accommodation within the scope of services.
The Guest is entitled to use the facilities and equipment of the accommodation.
The Guest, if competent, is entitled to use the garden grill in the Service provider’s guest house as intended and carefully.
In the event of any problem arising during the stay, the service provider will contact you by phone or in writing

The Guest’s right to complain ceases after leaving the accommodation.
- Obligations of the Guest
The guest is obliged to settle the consideration for the services by the time and in the manner specified in the Contract.
The guest is obliged to compensate the service provider for the damage caused by him or his escort or persons under his supervision.
- Rights of the Service Provider
The Service Provider has the right to retain the amount of 30% of the accommodation cost received for the accommodation service ordered and finalized by the Guest, but not used by the Guest, as stipulated in these General Terms and Conditions and the Booking and Cancellation Conditions.
The Service Provider has the right to refuse or terminate the accommodation service in the case of the provisions of point 10.
- Obligation of the Service Provider
14.1. The Service Provider is obliged to investigate the guest’s complaint during the stay and take the necessary steps to deal with the problem.
14.2. The Service Provider is obliged to provide the Guest with their telephone contact information in order to resolve any problems or questions that may have arisen during their stay.
- Liability of the service provider
15.1. The service provider is not responsible for electrical equipment brought in by the guest, the guest is responsible for any damage caused by it.
15.2. The responsibility of the service provider does not extend to damage caused by the guest himself, or damage that cannot be avoided beyond the scope of the guests.
15.3. The service provider assumes no responsibility for personal items, valuables, or cash left in the service provider’s public spaces or rooms.
15.4. The Service Provider assumes no responsibility for valuables left in the Service Provider’s free street parking lot.
- Payment and Cancellation Terms
16.1. The reservation is valid upon acceptance of the Booking and Cancellation Conditions and the ASZF, after payment of 30% of the total accommodation fee in advance and confirmation thereof. If the requested amount is not received by the indicated deadline, the Service Provider’s obligation to offer and provide services will also cease.
16.2. The 30% can be paid by bank transfer or cash. The remaining accommodation fee must also be paid by bank transfer or in cash. In case of cancellation, we cannot refund the 30%.
16.3. Special periods, public holidays and non-working days
During special periods and on holidays and non-working days, a higher daily rate is payable as indicated on the website.
16.4. Costs related to the use of any payment method are charged to the Contracting Guest or their bank card.
Featured periods

- on the basis of decree, the entire period of the officially designated winter school break (the first day of the period: the night of the last school day before the winter break; the last day: the night of the day before the last day of the winter break
- Fridays and Saturdays
- public holidays, including days that affect “long weekends” associated with public holidays. In this case, the increased fee payment period lasts from the night before the first public holiday of the period to the night before the last public holiday
- the period from Tuesday to Saturday in the week concerning the EFOTT Festival
- Obligations and responsibilities of the service provider
17.1. The Service Provider continuously provides the Service to the Guest in return for the fulfillment of the Guest’s payment obligation.
17.2. The Service Provider is not responsible for damages that occur due to force majeure, force majeure, or other reasons or events beyond the Service Provider’s control, for which the Service Provider cannot be held responsible.
17.3. The Service Provider reserves the right to change the price. He is not responsible for any errors on the page. The consideration includes public charges affecting the property.
17.4. The Service Provider stores the data of the purchasing Guest in order to fulfill the contract and to later prove the terms of the contract, but is not entitled to pass them on for advertising use or for any other purpose – in the absence of the express consent of the Guest.
- Rights and obligations of the Guest
18.1. We are not responsible in any way for incorrect data provided during the provision of the Guest’s data, and for the damages resulting from them, for possible incorrect performance resulting from incorrect data.
18.2. The Guest is obliged to pay for the service according to the payment method. The Guest may deviate from the chosen payment method only with the prior consent of the Service Provider. If the Guest cannot pay the purchase price of the ordered service, the ordered service is automatically deleted from the system.
- Management of problems resulting from the entry of an incorrect amount
19.1. Pursuant to the provisions of our General Terms and Conditions and our Reservation and Cancellation Conditions, the Guest can validate his reservation by paying 30% of the total accommodation cost in advance, which amount is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
19.2. If the Guest has initiated the payment of an amount exceeding the amount of 30%, in this case he must notify the Service Provider in writing by e-mail: sukorose@sukorose.hu. The letter must include the amount, time and transaction number of the overpayment.
19.3. The Service Provider notifies the Guest in its response letter that if the amount paid exceeds the 30% amount to be paid in advance during the reservation, the Service Provider will reduce the total amount of the accommodation fee to be paid upon arrival at the accommodation by the amount paid.
19.4. However, if the Guest cancels the reservation, the Service Provider can only refund the amount exceeding the required 30% (i.e. the amount of the overpayment) to the Guest.
The service provider investigates the fact of overpayment within 5 days of notification and, if the claim is deemed legitimate, initiates the crediting of the overpaid amount and credits the overpaid amount within 5 days after deducting bank charges. The Guest will be informed of the results of the investigation in writing (at the e-mail address provided in the transaction).
